"Overall, I was extremely pleased with my kitchen. Bridgette and John listened carefully to my needs and the first design they presented was a great start. Importantly, they were very open to my suggested revisions and incorporated them making the final kitchen design a wonderful collaborative experience. When the kitchen was finished, I just loved looking at it (my friends did too!) Although small, it is elegant and charming. But beyond looking great, it is so perfectly suited to my needs. Cooking in the kitchen is now a pleasure instead of a chore. I never really thought I could have a my dream kitchen at an affordable price, but I do! I couldn't be happier."

"Complete floor to ceiling kitchen remodel. Initial visit to my home by Warren (designer). We discussed what needed to be done to prep the kitchen (including a demo of soffits, removal of an existing pantry, and relocating the fridge), along with new design issues (such as pendant fixtures, recessed can lights, and under cabinet lights). About two weeks later, I met with Paul (the owner) along with Warren and Javier. At this time, detailed design drawings were presented with a cost estimate. After deciding to proceed, the following was done over roughly a five week period: performed necessary demolition, prepped and painted existing plaster walls and ceiling (including removing 4 layers of wallpaper!), installed new oak cabinets and light fixtures, stained and installed door and window trim and a replacement "pocket" door, supervised installation of a new quartz countertop (done by Cambria), installed new appliances (I supplied), and installed new ceramic floor and backsplash. Overall things went very well. I decided to use the Design Center for some "non-financial" reasons, including a willingness to work on weekends, and hauling away my old cabinets and waste (which prevented a dumpster rental). I also felt they would do a high quality job, and they delivered. They did a great job resurfacing the areas left open by the soffit removal. They also found a way to install 12 recessed can lights in the ceiling without having to climb into the attic of my ranch house (I recently had insulation sprayed up there). It was also great that they did a bulk of their demo work while I was out of town on vacation for a week. They also accepted delivery of my new appliances while I was gone. I had no doubt that things were going OK, or entrusting my property to people I had only recently met. The Koch cabinets provided were a pleasant surprise. I had never heard of the company, but they provided a quality product at a reasonable price."

"We completely remodeled our kitchen. Removed floor and all the cabinets and replaced them with a new tile floor, new cabinets and quartz countertops. Also replaced the sink and fixtures as well as the dishwasher. Also installed new floor and carpet on entry way landings and stairway. We used the Design Center for the design as well as the source for the materials. They also did all the installation work from beginning to end. Paul, the owner, was our contact. We started by meeting with him and looking at some floor and cabinet samples at his location. He came to our home and measured all the areas we wanted to work on. After talking with us and measuring the area, he presented a design for the entire project. After making some changes and additions, we selected the materials we wanted, and Paul provided an estimate for the hardware as well as a separate estimate for the labor. He was very attentive to our budget and our concerns and made suggestions and helped us realize our vision. We started with a flooring choice and worked from there. Paul was flexible and was only concerned with our satisfaction at all times. When we agreed to the materials and labor estimates, we went ahead. Paul provided time lines and a very clear idea how and when we could expect the work to be completed. The work force he provided were complete professionals. They were hard working, they did not waste time. They were always ready to respond to any request we made and when changes were made along the way, they never complained or sulked. They wanted us to be satisfied. Paul was always available for questions and if something was not quite right, for any reason, either we changed something, or there was a problem with a material, he made it right. If there was a problem or a delay, he responded. His position was it is not done until we are satisfied. He honored his estimates, and if we made additions or changes, he would add or subtract as necessary. He was always looking out for us. This was true of his office staff and of all the workers. It was excellent work, and we have a magnificent kitchen to show for it. Absolutely beautiful and everyone who has seen it agrees. We strongly recommend Paul and the Design Center. We are going to redo our master bathroom next year, and we are not going to even bother to look for anybody else to do the work."
